ProRay is a tactical light that recently launched online. The light claims to be an ideal self-defense tool. Find out more today in our ProRay Tactical Light review.
What is the ProRay Tactical Light?
The ProRay Tactical Light is an aluminum flashlight similar to many other tactical flashlights that have launched online over the last year. The flashlight is made from “aircraft aluminum” and features a telescoping focus and five preset operation modes.
ProRay also features a beveled edge along the lens. If somebody attacks you on the street, you may be able to swing that beveled edge to defend yourself – or at least, that’s how ProRay is being advertised.
ProRay is made by Thane, a Canadian company responsible for a number of As Seen On TV-style products sold around the world.
At first glance, ProRay looks identical to other tactical flashlights on the market. It has the same beveled edge, same preset modes, and same compact shape. Let’s take a closer look to see if there’s anything special about ProRay that makes it worth buying.
ProRay Features
ProRay Tactical Light comes with all of the following features:
-Made from “high-quality aircraft aluminum” (hint: aircraft aluminum is also used to make golf clubs and bicycle spokes; it’s all the same aluminum alloy)
-Telescoping focus capable of zooming from 1x to 200x
-Five preset operation modes (bright, medium, low, strobe, and SOS)
-Compact and portable (can fit into a purse, nightstand, or glove box)

The ProRay has not yet been launched. It’s currently listed under the “Projects” section of Thane’s official website.

Should You Buy the ProRay Tactical Light?
The ProRay Tactical Flashlight is an upcoming product from Thane, a Canadian company that specializes in making a variety of ASOTV-style products.
ProRay looks similar to most other tactical flashlights that have recently appeared online. It has a beveled edge, multiple light modes, and a zooming function.
At the time of writing, we have few details about the ProRay. We know little about its technical specifications or how it works, for example. We also don’t know the price point. Typically, flashlights like this can be found for as little as $15 on Amazon. It seems unlikely that ProRay will be available that low.
