The AFERIY P310 Solar Generator is a portable power station, sold as a 3600W solar generator kit, with a 3,840 Wh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. The seller markets it for home backup during power outages, and for RVs, camping and off-grid living. As of October 28, 2026, the seller’s product page lists the 3600W P310 kit at $1,599.00, down from $2,099.00, with pre-orders expected to ship in mid-November; panel bundles are listed from $2,198.00 to $2,597.00. AFERIY offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for personal-reason returns on orders delivered within the United States. For those returns, the seller says the customer is responsible for applicable return-related costs, which may include original shipping, return shipping and payment processing fees. The battery is rated by AFERIY for 4,000+ charge cycles, which is the maker’s own figure. This page covers the specs, runtimes, solar panels, price, refunds, warranty, safety, buyer reviews and whether the seller is legit.

What the AFERIY P310 is and who it is for

The P310 is a battery you charge ahead of time and then plug devices into. AFERIY calls it a solar generator, and it can be charged from a wall outlet, a car outlet or solar panels. The seller’s mission line is to “eliminate power anxiety and ensure electricity is always within your reach,” and its product copy aims it at home backup, outdoor adventures and off-grid living.

The seller says the unit can power high-wattage equipment such as electric tools, RVs, electric vehicles, heaters, air conditioners and drills. It also says its pure sine wave output is safe for sensitive electronics. Those are AFERIY’s statements, and you should check the wattage of your own devices before relying on them (see the runtime section below).

This page is desk research based on AFERIY’s own pages. It is not hands-on testing of the unit.

What AFERIY says it does and how it works

The seller says the P310 can switch to battery power within 10 ms during a power outage, which it describes as UPS mode for protecting computer parts. Its FAQ says UPS mode works when the unit sits between an AC wall outlet and your appliances, with the power switch and the AC switch both turned on.

The seller also says you can monitor and control the unit through its BrightEMS app for Android or iOS. Setup needs Bluetooth on and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, because the app supports only 2.4 GHz. The app lists input and output status, scheduled charging and an energy-saving mode.

The unit has a cooling fan that the FAQ says starts only when the internal temperature exceeds 60 degrees, and the seller says fan noise is below 60 dB when the cooling fan is running.

AFERIY P310 specs: capacity, outputs and charging

Feature What AFERIY lists
Battery capacity 3,840 Wh, expandable to 11,520 Wh with two additional batteries
Battery chemistry Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), described as EV-grade
Cycle life 4,000+ charge/discharge cycles to 85% (spec table); retains 80% after 4,000+ cycles, lifespan up to 11 years (features list)

AC charging input Up to 1,500 W
Maximum combined input 3,500 W with AC and solar input at the same time
Battery management MPPT charge controller and BMS with overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, overcharge, over-discharge and short-circuit protection
Weight 42 kg
Dimensions 584 × 321 × 464 mm
Certifications UL, CE, FCC, PSE, RoHS, TELEC, as the seller lists them
Warranty 7 years on the spec table; see the warranty section for the conditions

The seller’s figures do not all match. The features list says 80% capacity retained after 4,000+ cycles, while the spec table says 85%. The AC input adjustment levels also differ between the description and the FAQ (300/500/900/1200/1500 W in the description; 400/800/1200/1600/2200 W in the FAQ for units bought after December 2023). Confirm these with service before you rely on them.

The P310 has 15 output ports in total, per the seller’s FAQ:

Output Count Rating
AC outlets 5 3,600 W rated total
USB-A 2 QC 3.0, 18 W
USB-C 3 PD 20 W
USB-C 1 PD 3.0, 100 W
Car power (cigarette lighter style) 1 12 V, 10 A
DC5521 2 12 V, 3 A
XT-60 1 12 V, 25 A

The seller lists a surge rating for the AC outlets nowhere in its copy. If your tools have a high starting load, ask [email protected] for the surge figure before you order.

Charging times are listed in more than one place, and they differ:

Charging method Seller’s figure
AC and solar together 0% to 99% in 1.5 hours (description); 80% in 1.5 hours (features list)
1,500 W AC outlet About 2.5 hours (spec table, 1,500 W AC input); the FAQ gives about 2 hours at 2,200 W AC input
AC outlet plus 1,500 W solar panel About 1.3 hours (spec table, AC plus 1,500 W solar); the FAQ’s 1.2-hour figure is an optimal-conditions hybrid test at 2,200 W AC plus 2,000 W solar
1,500 W solar panel alone Fully recharged within 2.5 hours (description)
120 W car outlet About 32 hours

Dividing 3,840 Wh by 1,500 W gives about 2.6 hours before losses; the seller does not say how it measured its 2.5-hour figure. The 1,500 W panel is not one of the 400 W panel options sold with the kit.

How long will the AFERIY P310 run a fridge, a CPAP or phones?

The rough formula is battery watt-hours divided by device watts: runtime in hours = Wh ÷ W. This is before inverter losses. Read the wattage on your own device’s label and plug it into the same formula.

Expect less in real use. The FAQ says the inverter converts DC to AC at about 90% efficiency, that about 5% of the energy stays in the battery when the display reads 0%, and that the unit draws about 20–25 W an hour while the AC switch is on. The 11,520 Wh figure applies only if you add the two extra batteries, which the FAQ also contradicts (see the expansion section below).

Solar panels: what comes with the AFERIY P310

The package list in the product description names the AF-P310 station, an AC charging cable, an MC4-XT90 cable and the instruction manual. Solar panels are sold as separate options. The panels the seller lists are AF-S400A1 units rated 400 W each, and you can choose one, two, three or four.

The seller’s FAQ says the station accepts up to 2,000 W, 160 V and 20 A of solar input. It also says most panels from other brands will be compatible if they meet those limits, and that panels can be wired in series or parallel. The seller advises connecting solar only during the day, because a standby draw runs when panels stay connected at night, and says a ticking sound at sunrise or sunset is normal.

AFERIY P310 price and kit options

The seller’s product page lists these options. Prices and bundles change, so check the checkout for today’s price before you choose. The seller’s banner also advertises a “Halloween Power Sale” from October 19 to November 1 with “up to 50% off,” so check whether the sale price applies at checkout.

Shipping is listed as free on all orders in the shipping policy, to the contiguous United States. The policy also lists a $398 fee for U.S. outlying islands, but the same policy says it does not ship to islands, so ask before ordering to one. The seller’s pages list no subscription or rebilling terms.

When you are ready, compare the options on the Product Page, then add the panel count that fits your sun exposure.

AFERIY P310 refunds, returns and cancelling

The seller’s return and refund policy and product page describe these terms.

  • Return window: 30 days from receiving the product, for personal reasons even if nothing is wrong with it. Products that arrive defective or damaged are covered within 30 days of purchase, whether opened or used.
  • Condition: the unit must be new, unused and undamaged, with all accessories, manual, warranty card and cables, ideally in original packaging. The seller may refuse a return that does not meet this.
  • Who pays shipping: for personal-reason returns, the policy says you are responsible for applicable return-related costs, which may include original shipping, return shipping and payment processing fees. If you refuse a delivery, the seller may deduct both shipments.
  • Damage in transit: the seller may adjust the refund by 30% to 70% of the product value, depending on the damage. It recommends buying shipping insurance.
  • Where it applies: the voluntary return service covers orders delivered within the United States.

To return, email [email protected] with your order number and the reason. The seller says it will review the request and, where applicable, send a return label and instructions within 2 business days. It notes that processing time may vary. Do not ship to any address until the seller confirms it. For shipped orders, receive the package first, then ask for the return.

To cancel, the seller says you can request it within 12 hours of placing the order by email, the website contact form or live chat. If the order has already shipped, the seller says a $20 shipping interception fee applies if the parcel can be stopped. If an item is out of stock or the address is incomplete, the seller emails you, and cancels and refunds the order if you do not reply within 15 days.

The full AFERIY return and refund policy is worth reading before you pay. Amazon orders go to [email protected], according to the seller’s FAQ.

AFERIY P310 warranty: how long it lasts and how claims work

The product page says all products carry a 2–3 year standard warranty, with up to 7 years on selected models. The warranty policy says a station rated 400 W or higher gets a 2-year base warranty plus a 5-year extension, up to 7 years, and the extension requires product registration. The seller’s FAQ points to a “WARRANTY EXTENSION” link for registration, so register once the unit arrives.

When the problem appears Who pays shipping What the seller offers
Within 3 months of purchase AFERIY provides a prepaid return label Free replacement or repair if the defect is confirmed
3 months to 2 years AFERIY covers round-trip shipping Free repair for covered issues
Over 2 years (400 W and up) You pay shipping both ways Free repair if eligible

The policy excludes damage from drops, water, unauthorized opening, overload, prolonged full discharge and third-party accessories, and it treats normal capacity decline over time as not a warranty issue. The seller also offers “lifetime technical support from the date of purchase.” Claims may require your order number, the model and SN code, a description of the fault, and clear photos or video. You can read the full AFERIY warranty policy before you buy.

AFERIY P310 safety, side effects and who should not use it

The P310 is a battery product, not something you take or apply, so the seller’s pages cover safety in use rather than side effects. The seller’s FAQ and warranty policy give these instructions:

  • If you leave the unit unused for more than 3 months, keep it at 60–80% charge, check and charge it every 3 months, and store it in a dry, cool place away from fire, heat and corrosive substances.
  • The battery cannot be replaced by you. The FAQ says to contact AFERIY customer service if the internal battery malfunctions.
  • Do not open the body or battery. The warranty excludes unauthorized opening, water exposure and overload.
  • The seller says to keep the total load within the 3600 W rating, and to use a grounded, high-quality power strip if you plug one in.
  • The FAQ says the P310 has no dedicated 30-amp RV outlet, so RV use may need an adapter.

The seller’s warranty excludes commercial, industrial or special applications, so if you plan business use, check the terms first. Anyone who needs a 30-amp RV hookup without an adapter should not assume the P310 fits that setup. The certification list (UL, CE, FCC, PSE, RoHS, TELEC) is the seller’s statement. Check the marks and certification numbers on the unit’s label against the certifying body before you rely on them.

Is the AFERIY P310 Solar Generator legit, or a scam?

The seller’s terms say the website is operated by AFERIY, and the site says its store is hosted at Shopify Inc. The contact page lists [email protected] for pre-sales questions, a live chat, and a mailing address in Hong Kong. The warranty policy also names the Amazon AFERIY Official Authorized Store and a Rakuten AFERIY store as authorized channels.

Here is how to check the purchase before you pay:

  • Confirm the seller on your order confirmation. The name AFERIY should appear, whether you buy from the AFERIY site or an authorized Amazon or Rakuten store.
  • Email [email protected] and ask for the confirmed pre-order ship date in writing. The product page says mid-November, and pre-order times may vary.
  • Read the return terms and the shipping area before you enter an address. The shipping policy limits shipping to the contiguous United States.
  • Check the payment methods shown at checkout, and keep your order number and order email for any dispute with your payment provider.

What the seller’s pages establish is the company name, a contact route, written return and warranty terms, and an authorized Amazon channel. What they do not settle is when your unit ships or how long the pre-order takes. Ask about those before you pay.

How does the AFERIY P310 compare with other options?

The seller’s pages do not compare the P310 with other brands, so use the spec table as your checklist. Put each candidate’s watt-hours, rated AC watts, outlet count, AC and solar charging times, solar input limit, warranty years and return window side by side with the table above.

If your need is smaller, such as charging phones outdoors, a solar charger is a different job. If your need is solar-powered smart-home devices rather than a whole-home backup, see our smart home devices compatible with renewable energy systems guide. If your goal is lowering your electric bill rather than backup power, read whether do energy-saving devices really work covers the savings question.

Doing nothing keeps the upfront cost at zero, but you have no stored power when the grid goes out. The P310 is a way to hold power for the outages and off-grid trips you plan for.

What buyers say about the AFERIY P310

The product page shows one customer review, rated 5 out of 5 and dated April 17, 2026. The buyer says the station and three 400 W panels arrived a few days after ordering, that the packing was good, and that the unit displayed charging input and load power while running an electric leaf blower. One review is a small sample, so read the newest reviews on the listing before you pay.

The seller’s damage adjustment rule applies to returned goods, so keep your packing and photos if something arrives broken.

AFERIY P310 questions people ask

Can I plug it into the wall as a backup for a computer?

The seller’s FAQ says yes, you can keep it connected to a wall outlet for UPS use, but you must turn on the output switch.

Can I use other brands of solar panels?

The seller says most will be compatible if they meet the input limits of 2,000 W, 160 V and 20 A.

Can I replace the battery or add capacity myself?

The FAQ says no to replacing the built-in battery, and says the unit cannot be connected to another battery or power station to increase capacity. The FAQ describes a P310B 3,840 Wh expansion battery that connects to the P310, while the product page says capacity expands to 11,520 Wh with two additional batteries. Ask [email protected] which applies before you plan around two extra batteries.

How do I store it between uses?

Keep it at 60–80% charge, check and charge it every 3 months, and store it in a dry, cool place away from fire and heat sources.

Do I need an account to use the app?

The FAQ says you create an account and log in, with no email or phone verification code required. Pairing needs Bluetooth on and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Before you order: buyer checklist

  • Ask [email protected] for the confirmed ship date, since the 3600W kit is listed as a pre-order shipping mid-November.
  • Confirm whether your kit includes solar panels. The base package list names no panels, so choose a panel option if you need one.
  • Ask for a surge rating if your tools or appliances have high starting loads. The seller’s copy lists a 3,600 W rated AC output only.
  • Resolve the expansion conflict: the FAQ says the P310 cannot be connected to another battery, yet it also describes the P310B expansion battery.
  • Confirm your shipping address is in the contiguous United States. The island fee and the shipping-area rule conflict.
  • Check the 110 V and 120 V setting for your country and device, and whether your unit was bought before December 2023, since the FAQ says the voltage and frequency settings differ by purchase date.
  • Register the unit after delivery to activate the 5-year extension, and keep the proof of purchase.
  • Check the sale price and kit price at checkout, since the seller’s sale banner runs to November 1.
