A lot of companies like to toss around the term “military grade” and boast about how their products are used by real military and law enforcement – despite the lack of evidence. It’s refreshing to see Bomber & Company be more honest with their marketing.
Blade
The B-2 Nano Blade is split with a serrated edge as well as a sharp edge. The sharp edge is ideal for thin, sharp precision slices while the serrated edge is ideal for tougher materials – like wood – that needs to be sawed. The teeth on the blade uses a design called the “Great American Tooth” pattern, which was designed specifically to saw and rake wood fibers.
Another unique feature of the blade is that it’s perforated. There are three small holes on the non-cutting edge of the blade. These perforations allow the wielder to cut and slice materials so that they don’t stick to the blade, leading to a cleaner, sharper cut.
Size
The B-2 Nano Blade is one of the smallest tactical blades you can buy today. The blade has a full opened length (blade extended) of 80mm. When the blade is closed, it’s 48mm long, 20mm wide, and 5mm thick.

Materials And Build
440C black stainless steel rated at 58-60HRC. 440C was picked as a material due to its durability and corrosion-resistance. The company claims it can “endure years of outdoor wear without extra maintenance to protect the blade from rusting.”
Casing Design
The B-2 Nano Blade is a fully-redesigned version of the vintage SR288 stock casing, which was a discontinued casing unit for blades between 5 and 9 inches. Bomber & Company downsized the case for the smaller form factor of the B-2 Bomber Nano Blade. The casing material, like the blade, consists of heat-treated 440C black stainless steel.
Folding And Locking
The B-2 Nano Blade locks and folds. The lock system uses a lever instead of a push button lock. You can use the spine of the knife to scrap splint without worrying about it coming around while the blade is locked.
In other words, you’re less likely to accidentally cut off your fingers. Bomber & Company describes the system as having “zero wiggle room” and “completely tight and will not move”. It was designed with safety in mind.
Overall, the creators of the B-2 Nano Blade describe the knife as “engineered to be very tactical”. It’s versatile – in that it can be used in survival situations or in self-defense situations.
