NightHawk T700 Tactical LED Flashlight Review – Worth It?

The NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight is a high performance tactical flashlight priced at a supposed 75% off online. Here’s our flashlight review.

What is the NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight?

The NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight is a recently-released tactical flashlight that promises to use different power modes, a beveled edge, and aircraft-grade aluminum to protect you from threats and illuminate your surroundings.

The flashlight is being marketed as part of a 75% off coupon online. By signing up for the coupon at the right time, you can enjoy 75% off your purchase, dropping the flashlight from its regular price of $200+ down to around $50.

What makes the T700 a $200 flashlight? Let’s take a closer look at its features compared to the ever popular X800 Shadowhawk.

NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight Features

The NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight comes with the following features and tech specs:

-Material: Made from aircraft-grade aluminum (which is also the same aluminum used in bicycle spokes and golf clubs, so don’t get too excited)

-Light Modes: Low, Medium, High, Strobe, and SOS

-Power Source: 3 AAA batteries or 1 x 18650 rechargeable battery

-Size: 6.2×1.4×1.3 inches

-Weight: 7 ounces

-Zoom: Adjustable zoom from 1x, 250x, 500x, 1000x, and 2000x.

-Light: Cree XM-L T6 LED

Aside from these basic tech specs, we don’t know much about the NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight. There’s hardly any information about the flashlight posted online at this time – including no customer reviews and not even an online sales store.

However, the light used in the NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight tells us a lot about this flashlight: it tells us that this flashlight is the same 75% off flashlight we’ve seen around the internet on dozens of different flashlights over the past few weeks.

Is It Really 75% Off?

Currently, the NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight is advertised only on one coupon sign up page: you enter your email address if you want to get 75% off the sales price for the flashlight.

The page doesn’t actually tell you any information about the flashlight’s price. However, on other Cree XM-L T6 LED flashlights, we typically see a price of $200+ get reduced to about $50.

That’s a great discount. However, please note that we’ve never once seen a Cree XM-L T6 flashlight sell for over $200. We don’t even see those flashlights listed at that price. In fact, the only price we really see listed is the $50 price tag (which is the supposed “75% off” price).

The Cree XM-L T6 is also one of the cheapest LEDs in the industry: you can find similar flashlights to the T700 retailing for $10 to $20 on Amazon – including with identical (or even better) tech specs compared to the ones listed above.

Who Makes the NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight?

The flashlight’s official website lists the manufacturing address as this:

228 Park Ave. S, #29501
New York, NY 10001-1502

A quick Google Search for that address links it to a company named Precision Consulting. The listed location, however, appears to be a Chase Bank.

In reality, the T700 is likely made by the same company that’s making all of the other flashlights we’ve seen hitting the market in recent weeks. These flashlights all feature a virtually identical design – right up to the beveled edge.

All of these flashlights also come with the same supposed “75% off” offer, when in reality, the flashlights have never been sold for any higher than $56.

The NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight does appear to use the same Cree XM-L T6 LED emitter, which is capable of outputting around 800 to 1000 lumens of light power (depending on the flashlight).

In any case, the company lists itself as “NightHawk Gear”. However, in their terms of service section, we see the company listed as Fetch Deals, Inc.

The official Fetch Deals website claims to find “free samples and coupons delivered to you”. Their main sales page features coupons for all sorts of free promotions going on across the nation.

NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight Pricing

Pricing details for the T700 have not yet been released.

However, based on other XM-L T6 flashlights we’ve recently seen online, the flashlight should be priced at $56 per flashlight, with that price per unit dropping as you buy more.

Should You Buy the NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight?

The NightHawk T700 LED Flashlight is a new flashlight that just recently appeared online. The flashlight is identical to many other “75% off” flashlights we see on the internet today. All of these flashlights come with identical features and a $50 to $60 price tag.

Considering you can get identical flashlights for around $10 to $20 on Amazon (including the same Cree XM-L T6 LED), there’s little incentive to pay a premium for the T700 (even if it is supposedly “75% off”).
